Miles is really into cooking/stirring these days, so Grandma
Bubb got the boys aprons and chef's hats. Of course, he wears the wrong hat...he can't read. Even though he eats raw egg and other things that really should be cooked first, he is enjoying the kitchen and we have created a few activities to pass the long hours between nap and bedtime. These cold cold days are really cutting into the amount to energy-using activities I can come up with! It was so easy when we could open the back door and run around.
Cooper is once again entered into a youth sports camp program through the
Edina Community Center, and he loves it! Miles loves running around in the gym afterwards and I like talking to the other moms. Works out for everyone!
If you have any ideas for indoor activities for a 4 and 2 year old, I would love to hear them. Seems like it will be a long winter if I have only my 3-5 great ideas! Thanks!!
SO cute! :) I love the video up top too...they are precious. Oh how I wish you lived closer--we could figure out indoor activities together! We are doing cooking, crafts (when I can come up with them), and going outside in our big coats regardless of the weather! My friend is planning to put a little kiddie pool in her unfinished basement, so I think I may do the same! :) It's going to be LONG winter! Miss you!
ReplyDeleteSo fun and I love the Chef's hat (even with the wrong name). So cute. The cold days are tough on the kiddos (and moms) but, so fun that you've been cooking with the boys and going to the youth camp. Kel
