Mini James' Halloween Song

These two should really get a talent agent...I think they have something special here!

Long Days...Indoors!

Miles is really into cooking/stirring these days, so Grandma Bubb got the boys aprons and chef's hats. Of course, he wears the wrong hat...he can't read. Even though he eats raw egg and other things that really should be cooked first, he is enjoying the kitchen and we have created a few activities to pass the long hours between nap and bedtime. These cold cold days are really cutting into the amount to energy-using activities I can come up with! It was so easy when we could open the back door and run around.

Cooper is once again entered into a youth sports camp program through the Edina Community Center, and he loves it! Miles loves running around in the gym afterwards and I like talking to the other moms. Works out for everyone!

If you have any ideas for indoor activities for a 4 and 2 year old, I would love to hear them. Seems like it will be a long winter if I have only my 3-5 great ideas! Thanks!!

My newest nephew!

I forget to say that my little brother, Steve, and his wife had a little baby boy a few days ago - Charles 'Charlie' Michael Bubb, and he is super cute! He has a perfectly round head, and is seriously perfect. It has been great seeing him the last few days, but I am so pumped when he can actually play with the other kids. What a fun time for our family! My parents have 6 grandchildren, and the oldest is Cooper, who just a few weeks ago turned 4. That's what the Bubbs do - multiply!

The Guys.

We're Back!!

Well, after a year off we have decided that blogging is yet again on our agenda!

Since our last post we not only settled into the new hood, and we are busy - here are a few quick updates! James is traveling a LOT right now speaking and training, so he is always flying somewhere it seems. The boys and I have become used to our routine without him, so they are pretty good with that. That part isn't terrible, but I just wish they didn't act like my voice was the only noise that they couldn't hear - especially as I yell at them in public. Seriously, by 6pm I am ready to throw in the towel for the day! Cooper has speech therapy two mornings a week, preschool a few days a week, sports camp during the week, and is going to start swimming lessons soon. Miles is 2. Enough said. He is starting to show his independence more and more, and it is usually in a non-constructive way. He recently fell into our ottoman and now is front tooth is dead. Great! He is in playgroup activities and will do swimming soon. Potty training will come later for him.

I am posting a few updated photos of the boys that our friend Katie took while she was watching them - she is awesome!
Now that we are back into the swing of things, I will post stuff.
